My Story...

Hi, I'm Carolyn the face behind Beurre et La Fille. I have a passion for crafting well made desserts from sustainable ingredients with a twist. My journey began while I was serving in the Army for 8 years, I enjoyed baking for fellow soldiers and after 2 combat deployments to Iraq, I decided I wanted to complete my service and use my GI Bill for culinary school. After completing Culinary School in 2016 from Le Cordon Bleu and a 3 month internship in Southern France plus over a decade in hospitality, I have honed my passion into creating Beurre et La Fille. I look forward to serving the greater Seattle area, whether that be a small moment with a bite of a cookie or a custom package for a special event or wedding.
